Residential schools for specially abled Children
Focus Area
Our organization has been executing two residential special schools for specially abled children since 2002 namely Spruthi and Avakasha; wherein specially abled children across mild, mediocre, and severe categories are taught with daily living skills through our caretakers. The special educators provide them with special education.
Target Group
Specially abled children across mild, mediocre, and severe categories who are educable and trainable.
These children are between the age group of 6-24 years.
Objective
To provide these children with basic amenities of food, clothing, and shelter along with special education. We aim to teach them the basic skills of life like bathing, eating, etc. Efforts to be undertaken to shift the kids belonging to mild and moderate categories with significant progress, to mainstream schools.
